KeyTran principally is an "EMPLOYEE-DRIVER" Company.
- Our own company Employees do most of our Driving.
- They initially are very carefully screened and selected.
- Background checks for good conduct
- No Accidents
- Physical Exams: Eyes, reflect action, general health, etc. (capable drivers)
- Legally qualified and fully acceptable
- Good Citizens
- After hiring our Employee Drivers we:
- Teach them safety procedures for driving trucks
- Teach them all Regulatory Requirements
- Teach them how to better serve our clients
- Teach them how to physically take good care of KeyTran Trucks
- Teach them KeyTran high standards of good business conduct
- Dress them in KeyTran uniforms
- Train them to be professionals
From time to time KeyTran engages Independent Contractor Drivers in its work:
- During periods of excess/ extreme business congestions, and our clients cannot wait
- During emergency conditions, etc.
- Great care by KeyTran is exercised in carefully selecting Independent Contractor Drivers
- Firstly, we minimize their use numerically
- Screen and engage them using procedures followed in selecting our corporate Employee-Drivers.
- Requires compliance with KeyTran standards (safety, etc.).
- They are engaged typically to drive trucks which they own, and have contracted to KeyTran
